Do you offer layaway?
We offer a convenient layaway plan for in-stock items with an initial 20% deposit.
How do you handle returns and exchanges?
Exchanges are accepted within 30 days of purchase and must include the original receipt. Store credit for the full purchase price will be given for those items in new condition. Certain special orders and altered items may be non-returnable or subject to a restocking fee.
Do you provide estimates on repairs?
We always provide you with a written estimate on any repair and receive your approval before any work is completed.
What types of payment do you accept?
We gladly accept Cash and Checks and VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
Do you offer in-house financing?
We have in-house financing available with our Gemstone Creations credit card. It only takes minutes to fill out the application.
Are you members of any jewelry professional organizations?
We are proud to be the only Fredericksburg area jewelry to be members of the Independent Jewelers Organization (IJO) and the Retail Jewelers Organization (RJO) the two largest and oldest independent jewelry store organizations in the country. Our staff have completed courses from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) the standard for training in the jewelry industry. When we attend IJO and RJO trade shows we always take advantage of the opportunity to learn new things by taking additional GIA courses.

- At Gemstone Creations we strive to provide a level of customer service that is unsurpassed by anyone. We will gladly take the time to make your visit a memorable one.
- We are happy to assist you in creating or designing your perfect piece of jewelry. Let us give you suggestions and advice and show you some of the custom pieces we have designed.
- If an item in your jewelry box has gone out of style let us help you create something new and exciting.
- If you can’t find it in our cases we’ll be happy to special order any jewelry in the design or style you desire.
- We will be happy to give you recommendations regarding your broken or damaged jewelry. Using our laser welder, our in-house jeweler can complete most repairs in two weeks or less. Some repairs can be completed while you wait.
- We can provide you with an estimate for watch repairs and with your approval have the work completed. Watch batteries can be replaced while you wait.
- Our custom restringing of your pearls and beads will make them look like new.
- We’re always happy to clean your jewelry for free while you browse in our store.
- Let us inspect your jewelry and look for worn areas or weak spots and make sure that all the diamonds and gemstones are secure.
- We are able to personalize your jewelry, plaques or gifware by providing computerized engraving services with about a 2 week turn around on most items.
- A Gemstone Creations Gift Card can be the perfect choice. We offer Gemstone Creations gift cards for any amount and also participate in the downtown Fredericksburg gift card program.
- Gift wrapping is always free with any purchase.
