Established in 1931, the Gemological Institute of Amcerica (GIA) is the world’s foremost authority on diamonds, colored stones, and pearls. A public benefit, nonprofit institute, GIA is the leading source of knowledge, standards, and education in gems and jewelry.

Students around the globe turn to GIA for the knowledge, skills, and credentials that launch successful gem and jewelry careers.

The world leader in gemological research, GIA’s breakthrough discoveries deepen our understanding of gemstones and the world.

Through research, education, and unbiased gem grading and analysis, GIA strives to protect the gem and jewelry buying public by setting global quality standards.

Nancy is a GIA Diamonds Graduate and lacks only one practical examination to be awarded the Graduate Gemologist title - the highest level of expertise in the jewelry industry. She has recently kept her skills current by completing GIA sponsored courses in Rubies, Sapphires and Emeralds; Pearl Grading and distinguishing synthetic diamonds.

Linda and Craig have completed the GIA Accredited Jewelry Professional course.

We do our best to take advantage of GIA courses and programs in order to keep our expertise at the highest level. We also regularly send diamonds and gemstones to GIA for grading assistance to make sure that the gemstones are graded properly.
