Goldsmith completing a repair Gemstone Creations features a full service on-site repair shop and we can replace missing stones, do ring sizings, retip prongs, set stones in new mountings and fix what is broken. With our state-of-the-art laser welder we are able to fix or repair almost anything. Using focused beams of light from the laser our bench jeweler can usually complete repairs without removing diamonds or gemstones from the jewelry. Some repair jobs can be completed while you wait. Using the laser creates a more permanent bond in the metal and allows for a smoother looking finish to the work. All repairs are guaranteed for one year, if it breaks again before then, we'll gladly fix it for free. Goldsmith using Laser Welder Our bench jeweler has experience working with diamonds up to more than four carats and every type of colored gemstones, including opals, emeralds and Tanzanites. We complete some watch repairs on-site and more complex repairs are sent to experienced watchmakers who provide full estimates which we discuss with you before the work is authorized. Of course we are always happy to inspect and clean your jewelry for free. We're proud to say that we can fix or repair jewelry that other stores can't or won't. Computerized Engraving Machine Our computerized engraving machine allows us to personalize almost anything. We have many fonts and styles available and can engrave special images, logos or designs on just about any surface – including embossing leather. We have successfully engraved on a platter sized meat dome, wine bottles, saber blades, wooden staffs and more typical items such as wedding cake knives and servers, the inside and outside of rings, glassware and trophy plates. Some very large items may not be possible but just about anything else can be completed in a week or less.
